I Love You In Every Language

“I Love You In Every Language” is a beautifully illustrated book published by our very own Merav Mazoz and her husband Assaf Havilio. Assaf nurtured this idea for over 10 years. In the beginning, he wanted to write a book for Merav alone as a way of declaring his eternal love for his wife. Later, as the idea grew and evolved, Merav and Assaf decided to share this love with the entire world.

There were many experts involved in the creation of the book. Montreal is a multi-cultural city, so when Merav and Assaf moved here from Israel, they made friends with many nationalities from all over the world. Their new friends came from different backgrounds, different religions and spoke different languages. These amazing people provided lots of feedback, made sure the names in the book were correct, and that the costume drawings were accurate.

Love is what brings people together and this book is a message to future generations. It inspires you to meet different people who are not like you, travel, and open your horizons. And once you get to know these strangers, you understand that all of us are very much alike.  We are all human.

French and English school boards both ordered the book to help the kids to see that multi-cultural society enriches our lives and makes them so much more exciting.

The book is sold almost at cost, just to cover the publishing expenses. It’s a legacy more than anything else. It’s a way to give back to the world and all the wonderful people in it.
